Developers Compulsion Games have today announced that the new indie survival horror game We Happy Few, will be officially launching next year on April 13th 2018.

If you want to transfer a file from your phone to another phone, or a phone to a computer, and so on, usually you’d use a cable. This has been the default method for data transfer over the years and while it works, we guess it’s not the most efficient, but that could soon change as companies such as Samsung has backed a technology by Keyssa called “Kiss”.
The idea behind Kiss is that it will help facilitate wireless data transfer, and we’re sure that some are wondering what is the difference between this feature and other features like Bluetooth, AirDrop, and so on. The idea is that it will be faster, much faster, where you could transfer HD movies within seconds, or as you can see in the video above, you could even instantly stream video from one device to the other without the need for cables at all.
HBO just can’t catch a break lately. It was recently reported that four people had been arrested in India for leaking an episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The people arrested apparently worked for Star India, which is one of HBO’s distributors in the country. So that is another episode leaked. The sixth episode of season 7 was accidentally leaked online, but this time it seems that this was not by the work of hackers, but HBO themselves, as HBO Spain accidentally broadcasted the episode several days earlier than it was supposed to. The show was only made available for one hour before it was pulled, but it was more than enough time for users to rip the content and share it online. Naturally. Footage of the episode is being shared on many platforms. So HBO not only has to deal with hackers and rogue employees of their distributors, but also their own staff. It seems that everyone is leaking HBO shows these days. Luckily, this isn’t the final episode of the season, so hopefully HBO will be able to get a handle on all of this and keep their shows secure until they are meant to air on the proper date.

Daybreak Games formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment has released a major update for the H1Z1 which not only brings with it plenty of new features, tweaks and enhancements but also a name change from H1Z1 to Just Survive.

◦ All weapons have been rebuilt from scratch, introducing tiers to each weapon type while fine-tuning them to look and feel unique. In addition, we’re improved melee combat with a new hit registration system and attack animation overhaul.
• Loot:
◦ We’ve completely re-itemized the game, adding dozens of new items and giving each of the existing ones clear representation in the world. The days of picking up a striped shirt only to discover it’s actually an orange tank top are over. We’ve also completely overhauled containers and loot placement has also been overhauled so valuable items are spread out in more meaningful ways. We’re also introducing a Rarity system that clearly differentiates the valuable items from the standard fare.
• Golden Eagle Coins:
◦ Items found in the world can be exchanged for a new in-game currency tied to individual characters. These aim to create true value for each item in the world, tackling the problem of item hoarding. Golden Eagle Coins are required to purchase new Stronghold locations, and this currency’s usage will continue to be expanded in the future.

James Bond fans have been wondering who the next 007 start would be, it turns out we will have to wait a little longer to find out. Daniel Craig has revealed that he will return as James Bond in the next Bond movie.
There have been rumors that Daniel Craig would return as Bond for one more movie, this has now been confirmed by Craig himself.
The news was confirmed on The Late Show with Steven Colbert and the next movie will land in November 2019.
As yet there are no details on the next James Bond movie, the script will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have written the scripts for the Bond movies since the World Is Not Enough.

Disney Research has revealed a new concept augmented reality project they have been creating which is pushing the limits of the current AR technology to its limits and allowing digital characters and real-life participants to interact together.
A new project by Disney Research presented at SIGGRAPH 2017 recently showed a way to produce a similar but more immersive effect using a regular camera, a depth camera, audio, and even haptic effects.
AR tech is on the rise with Apple’s ARKit expected to enable fairly convincing insertion of digital objects into scenes as seen through the iPhone camera. The effect from Disney Research, however, is set apart by the haptic feedback and the use of the depth camera that can make interactions between the real world and digital elements more nuanced

The video we just come across was put together by MacRumors using a dummy model from mobile accessories sites Mobile Fun and Olixar.
The video gives us a look at what the design of Apple’s new iPhone 8 will look like. The handset has had a completely new design over the existing models.

From what we are able to summarize from the video, the new iPhone 8 will apparently come with an edge to edge display and will feature a stainless steel chassis and a glass back. The handset will also come with a new Apple A11 processor and more RAM than the current devices.
The Apple A11 processor is said to give a performance boost of around 30 percent over the Apple A10, the handset will also feature Apple’s new iOS 11. Apple have also update the cameras for this years iPhone. The handset will come with a dual camera setup which will be vertical rather than horizontal like the current handsets.
Apple will introduce facial recognition with the new iPhone 8, this will be used to unlock the handset and also for Apple Pay. It is not clear as yet on whether Apple’s new iPhone will have a fingerprint scanner. The home button on the handset is gone and the scanner will not be on the back of the device. It is possible that the fingerprint scanner will be under the display, although rumors have suggested that this will not be available in this years iPhone.
We are expecting the iPhone 8 to be made official some time in September, along with a new iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.

The feature showed up in the version 2.17.297 of the WhatsApp beta for Android, but as Android Police notes, the developers were quick to remove the feature in a follow up version 2.17.298. We’re not sure why they removed the feature, but presumably it wasn’t ready for primetime yet.
However based on what is known about the feature while it briefly existed, it is pretty straightforward where users choose the photo they want to send, and then they are presented with filter options. The filters appear on the same image editing screen that lets you add emojis, crop the image, or doodle on them. Once the filter is selected, users can send it off and they’re done.
We’re not sure when WhatsApp plans on rolling out the feature, but as we have seen in the past, it does take a while for features from the beta to become mainstream, so we could be in for a wait.

Over the weekend a few new developments in the ongoing iPhone 8 rumour mill have developed with the Foxconn vice president posted to his public social feed that the iPhone 8 will not be cheap.
This high price point is due to the failure rate of the OLED displays which apparently is currently hitting 40% due to the ‘special design’ of the new iPhone 8 screen, which takes the form of the notch/forehead display already leaked by Apple itself earlier this year.
Pictures of also been published which apparently show the new iPhone eight copper gold casing although validity of the image pictured above is not clear. So please as always take everything with a pinch of salt until Apple unveils their new iPhone 8 next month during September 2017.
Rumours are suggesting that alongside the black and white case Apple will also be creating a new copper gold finish for its iPhone 8. As soon as more details are made available we will keep you up-to-date as always.

A new PlayStation VR game will be launching later this month, created by the team behind the iconic and hugely popular Myst series of adventures.
